What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number; the recipient details you enter; and your order history. Card details are handled by Paystack and never reach our servers.

Why we collect it

To deliver the gift, to let you track it, to remember birthdays you have asked us to remember, and to answer you when you contact support.

Recipient data

A recipient’s phone number or email is used to deliver that gift and nothing else. We do not add recipients to marketing lists, and we do not sell contact data to anyone, ever.

Cookies

We use the minimum needed to keep you signed in and to understand which pages people actually use. No advertising trackers.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at hello@mybirthdaygift.com. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Everything else is deleted when you close your account.
